Graffiti 3

This is a HUGE mural (literally the size of the building, you can see it in comparison to the tree) and primaryflight.com still added amazing detail to the woman's jacket and face and hair. This is a very pretty welcoming in the beginning of Wynwood.

Graffiti 2

Most of the graffiti i saw at Wynwood was created by artists from a website called primaryflight.com. Their work contains very beautiful patterns and use of color. in the first picture, it was created to make it seem as if there was newspaper glued on to the mural. in the second picture, the alphabet is secretly hidden amidst all the colors and unicorn.

Grafitti

This piece of Grafitti right in front of Wynwood take up a huge side building wall space. It has very fun uses of color and some 3-D aspects (see air vent above)

Michael Garcia 4

This is the only painting in Garcia's collection that has another woman other than the monochromatic ones. This painting seems so real, especially the flowing hair and the expression really makes this stand out for me.

I believe this is the only photograph Michael has in his gallery, and it's very beautiful. The monochromatic scheme and the shadow of the heels create an extremely dramatic atmosphere among all his very bright paintings in the gallery.

Michael Garcia 2

Out of all the galleries I visited, I enjoyed Michael's the most, mainly because I'm a huge fan of pop art. He uses a lot of bright colors combined with a monochromatic color scheme, as seen in this painting. Painting these kinds of women is a recurring theme in his paintings, and i especially enjoyed this one because it is the only one painted as a close-up. The eyes are a beautiful feature in this painting and they popped out at me from the minute i walked in the gallery.

Michael Garcia

This painting is an especially very nice representation of what pop art is all about. Using the repetition method used a lot in pop art by the likes of Andy Warhol and others, the hearts are located in four different canvases, and use a complementary color scheme. It has very thick applications of paint in certain areas, and cold brushstrokes (see first picture).

This is a photograph found in Michael Garcia's gallery. This is not the work of Michael, and I was unable to understand the small signature or ask Michael who this belongs to. It is a beautiful naked woman with a snake around her body, and the details of her ribcage and the soft curves of her body are incredible. This is my favorite photograph I saw

Alejandra Von Hartz 3

This is an absolutely breathtaking piece, one of my favorites from Alejandra's gallery. it is made of multiple books, reaching from the floor to the ceiling, and she glued the pages together to make a beautiful pattern. It has the effect of those paper decorations you see at parties, but the size is absolutely amazing

This is a piece made of clay. It's extremely large, taking up almost an entire wall and you can see some beautiful texture after getting close to it or touching it. It is made up of thousands of small mosaics of clay.

Alejandra had a lot of work with foil and clay. This is a beautiful interpretation of the different phases of the moon.
